Daryl Abbs, BA (Hons), MBE, PLE

Daryl has advanced quickly to his current position as Managing Partner since joining Watson in 2015 as an Analyst.  He works in the areas of municipal finance, development charges, water and wastewater rate studies, stormwater rate studies, fiscal impact assessments, and service delivery reviews.

Daryl’s background has equipped him with a strong acumen in municipal finance, statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.

Through his previous experience as a Junior Analyst for the Labour Market and Socioeconomic Information Directorate branch of Service Canada, he developed the ability to analyze and report on economic trends and potential occupational outcomes.  He also brings knowledge from the municipal realm after completing two graduate-level co-op terms with the City of St. Catharines.

Daryl holds a Master of Business Economics degree from Brock University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from McMaster University.

Daryl resides in the community of Beamsville, located in the quiet Town of Lincoln, Ontario.  In addition to being closer to family, he is enjoying the small-town lifestyle the community provides.
