Adam joined Watson's education team in 2024, bringing with him 11 years of experience in school board administration. His expertise lies in student accommodation, municipal relations, business case development, and active student transportation. Before his tenure at Watson, Adam held the position of Senior Manager of Planning and Admissions at the Toronto Catholic District School Board, overseeing planning matters for the largest Catholic school board in the world by enrolment.
Adam's passion for enhancing student transportation is evident through his development and growth of the TCDSB's school travel planning program. He holds a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University (now known as Toronto Metropolitan University) and is a member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute and the Canadian Institute of Planners. His affiliations also include past roles in the Ontario Association of School Business Officials and the Ontario Catholic School Business Officials Association.
Adam is originally from Aurora and continues to reside in York Region. Outside of work, Adam finds joy in the culinary, visual, dramatic arts, and music, and has a passion for sports, having excelled in competitive hockey, baseball, and basketball during his youth. He was also a provincially ranked track and field athlete, specializing in shotput and discus. These days, Adam still finds time to play hockey and finds solace spending time with his family and engaging in outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and gardening.
